Various agencies and organizations working on addressing climate change issues in Palau recently gathered together to draft the country’s second communication to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
The group gathered together for a one-day workshop to address the draft communication and make any changes before the report is sent to UNFCCC.
Joe Aitaro, about it Palau’s Interim Climate Change Coordinator said the report would also assist the country in terms of funding climate change projects as well as highlight the different climate change issues impacting the Republic.
