Palau President heads to Monaco – VIDEO

After returning from Washington D.C, help President Remengesau is departing the Republic again to attend the upcoming Monaco Blue Initiative event.
 
The President revealed during his press conference this week that he will be departing to Monaco on June 21 to attended the event hosted by Prince Albert themed “Making the best of marine resources: ecological and economic challenges”.
 
The President will be delivering the keynote speech during the session about the current status of large predators: protection and economic opportunities, which is scheduled on the last day of the two-day event.
 
Kiribati President Anote Tong will also attend the event as he is scheduled to deliver the keynote speech during a session about marine protected areas. Remengesau Monaco trip follows Prince Albert’s recent trip to Palau earlier this year.
 
Prince Albert II of Monaco launched the Monaco Blue Initiative in 2010. The initiative is co-organized by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, the Oceanographic Institute, and Foundation of Prince Albert I of Monaco.
 
The event begins on June 22 to the 23rd.
