More than a dozen law enforcement officers are expected to successfully receive qualifications to operate firearms following the completion of the ongoing two-week firearms training.
The training is scheduled to conclude on August 28 with the qualification of the second and final group of trainees. The Australian expert who was on island co-instructing the training is set out to conduct similar trainings in Vanuatu and the Marshall Islands.
