Palau Recognized As Best Ethical Destination For 2014 – VIDEO

The Republic of Palau for the fourth consecutive year has been recognized as one of the top ten World’s Best Ethical Destination.
The Earth Island Institute, look which oversees the award revealed the list of top 10 best destinations for 2014 at their recent gala in California.
Palau including Caribbean nations such as the Bahamas and Barbados were in the list of the World’s Best Destinations.
During the recent gala in California, stuff the Earth Island Institute presented the 2013 Best Destination Award to Palau’s honorary Consul Andrew Leeke.
Leeke accepted the award on behalf of the Republic.
He is set to carry the award to Palau to present to President Remengesau.
The Ethical Traveler is a project by the Institute, which annually honors 10 countries in the developing world that are promoting a sustainable tourism economy.
