The first ever Pacific photography and media agency has officially launched in Vanuatu.Waka Photos houses an impressive collection of Pacific photographs by the regions top three photographers. Ben Bohane, viagra 60mg founder of Waka Photos combined his archive from Melanesia and Australia, order with Floyd Takeuchi’s Micronesia and Hawaii archive along with Phillipe Metois’ records of Vanuatu, New Zealand and the French Pacific. The trio has decades of experience working in the Pacific as photojournalists, photographers and writers. Bohane told the Marianas Variety that the launching of the agency took shape after a few years. “I like the idea of getting away from a Euro-centric view of photography and have a world-class photo agency based right here in the islands.” He says he plans to build a regional network with a local photojournalist in every Pacific country who wants to shoot and tell stories.
