A wreckage of an unknown aircraft was found in the waters of Ngebad, information pills Peleliu on Tuesday April 29, 2014.
The aircraft was originally believed to be the Cessna airplane that went missing along with two local police officers and an American pilot in 2012.
The aircraft, according to the responding police officer, is large in size.
The aircraft also appears to be only several years old with some of its paint job still intact.
Police however speculates that the aircraft may be from the World War II era, however nothing has been confirmed yet.
Police have since ruled out the possibility of the aircraft being the missing Cessna plane, however investigation is ongoing to locate the missing plane.
No other agencies as of date have inspected the wreckage or identified the origin of this aircraft.
