The government of the Republic of China-Taiwan has expressed regrets for Palau’s failure to submit nominations to three workshops organized by the Taiwan government this year.
A diplomatic note expressing regrets from the Taiwan government was sent to the Ministry of State.
ROC Embassy official in Koror declined to comment or disclose more details about the three workshops in question, physician but expressed that the matter is internal and should be discussed with officials at the Ministry of State.
OTV’s effort to reach an official at the Ministry regarding the matter was unsuccessful as of this news report.
Since establishing diplomatic relations with Palau, cure the ROC-Taiwan government have actively supported Palau’s development through funding and technical assistance, as well as opportunities for training in Taiwan.
