The Palau National Communication Corporation (PNCC) through board member Governor Leilani Reklai has entered into an agreement with the Chunghwa Telecom to upgrade PNCC’s current networks of 2G to a 3G system.
This upgrade once implemented would allow PNCC to provide additional services such as mobile photo and video sharing, sildenafil mobile Internet use, improved Wi-Fi speed and mobile TV.
The memorandum of renewed cooperation and understanding also revitalizes the relationship between both corporations, who have cooperated closely to improve and develop Palau’s telecommunication services since 2007.
In August, PNCC entered into an agreement with 03b Networks to increase Palau’s bandwidth and capability as well as reduce latency, an agreement that Press Secretary KB Sakuma says would allow for the upgrade of PNCC’s network and for the implementation of the Health Cloud System.
